Morcote, situated at the tip of the peninsula just below Lugano, has not gained its worldwide reputation for nothing. It is one of the romantic gems on the banks of Lake Lugano and has been listed as a historic monument for many decades. The villa was originally built in 1964/1965 and partially refurbished in 1998 by the present owners; an up-to-date refurbishment is however recommended, a fact that was considered in the price structure.
The house offers approx. 300 sq. m. living area plus terraces, balcony, garage with guest studio.
The layouts are spaciously designed. On the middle floor there are the living quarters with cloakroom, guest WC, living room (80 sq. m.) and kitchen leading onto a large terrace measuring approx. 180 sq. m., partly covered and with romantic arches, shower, WC and storage room for garden furniture. Here there is also a swimming pool that could be restored.
